Our mission is growing followers of Jesus. We’re looking for someone who has passion for leading and discipling young people, and who will help EPC grow followers of Jesus (who will in turn grow other followers of Jesus) among children, youth and young adults. The applicant should be able to:
Direct our Ministries to Young People
You will coordinate ministry across the youth and younger generations of our church.
Be a Disciple Maker
You will grow a disciple making culture among the leaders of ministry to children, youth and young adults. A significant aspect of the role will be the discipleship of young ministry leaders.
Be a Leader of Leaders
You will gather, equip and lead teams of young leaders for ministry to youth and young adults, and to children in cooperation with the Children’s Worker.
Be a Collaborative Team Member
You will work with the ministry staff and elders as we seek to implement our strategic plan across the church.
You will also need to:
• be gifted in leadership and disciple making
• have relevant theological and/or ministry training
• have a strong sense of affinity with EPC’s strategic vision and direction
• be willing to work within the theological framework of the Westminster Confession of Faith
• possess a current NSW Working With Children Check
This is a full time role to be paid in accordance with the rate set by the Presbyterian Church in NSW for unordained pastoral workers. It would be possible for the successful applicant to begin immediately, or to secure a position commencing January 2019.
